Miss Earth beauties invade wellness spa

An exodus of earth's most beautiful women took place on the 1st anniversary of classy spa in Manila.

Misses Belgium, Hungary, Israel, Kosovo, Guam and Netherlands all came to party with invited special guests. Six gorgeous ladies mingled with everyone to the delight of JameSpa owner Mr. Jim Acosta, a fellow columnist in this paper. The well-appointed spa was overflowing with visitors who want to take a glimpse of these beguiling ladies.

Selected media friends covering the event were elated with Miss Earth candidates due to their inherent charm and demure bearing. Photographers had a field day taking shots of these enthralling beauties. During the informal interviews, they willingly answered all questions thrown at them by inquisitive press people.

It was a sight to behold as six towering girls of diverse cultures enjoyed the sumptuous cuisine with gusto. Candidates from various continents stuffed themselves with native fare like pichi-pichi, maja blanca, bico, among others. The food was prepared by Acosta’s reliable staff.

Miss Earth Foundation is a non-government, non-profit entity which is run by environmentalists and experts in the field of beauty. Every year, Miss Philippines-Earth selects new batch of winners who can fittingly represent our country in the global competitions. Its main thrust is to create awareness among people to be eco-friendly and maintain cleanliness of our surroundings.

Our country will be represented by a pretty lass from Cebu City named Karla Paula Henry. Standing at 5’7, this articulate lady will compete against ninety (90) of the world’s most beautiful women. On final’s night, Psalmstre Enterprises will choose a candidate for the “Miss NEW PLACENTA” special award.

This is given to someone who has flawless complexion and shows great concern for the environment. Lucky candidate will be receiving cash prize, a plaque and New Placenta products from main sponsor.

Catch the “Miss Earth 2008” Coronation night on November 9, 2008 at Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga.
